"Heritage Kitchens completed work on our kitchen renovation, retiling of a bathroom floor, laundry counter replacement and laundry floor retiling, plus a tile upgrade in our front hallway.

We are very pleased with the professional job the team made of our kitchen and the other projects mentioned above.

Our projects began with several consultations with Tina, who is the design consultant for Heritage Kitchens. Tina was very patient with us, as we had no real idea of what we wanted and she guided us along this pathway until all designs and materials for the project were selected. She was able to provide budget friendly ideas and accommodated changes to the original plans, sometimes at the last moment!

Tina communicated very well with us and we were able to approach her with concerns and questions. She always got back to us promptly with responses to our questions, comments, etc. Tina followed through with site visits to our home before, during and at the end of the projects and maintained regular communication with us during the actual renovations.

Patrick was the lead contractor in our kitchen renovation which involved  a full gut of the kitchen, retiling the kitchen floor, rebuilding the kitchen island and upper and lower kitchen cabinets. Heritage Kitchens contracts out electrical and plumbing work, plus countertop installation, always using the same companies, so everyone works well together as a team on projects. Patrick and his team are experienced contractors who worked very hard on our kitchen project. All work was completed with great skill, care and in a very professional manner.  Any minor adjustments were always discussed with us during the renovation and our kitchen was completed as planned and on time.

Spencer, (Project Manager), completed the work on retiling the bathroom floor, our front hallway and the work in the laundry area and back hallway. There were some very awkward areas to tile, but Spencer was able to work his way around the physical site difficulties presented. Again, we had our  renovations completed in a very professional manner and with care and skill. 

Spencer and Patrick were always respectful, approachable and a pleasure to have working in our home.

"A complete kitchen renovation is stressful at the best of times but to have it coincide with the emergency orders in Ontario during the COVID 19 pandemic added an extra layer of stress for everyone. In spite of that the project was able to restart and progress methodically , albeit slower than originally planned in order to comply with all new regulations, until it’s completion . "We decided to do a complete Reno of our entire en-suite bathroom and could not have found a better company to do the job. It was a complete turn key job and the entire staff from start to finish were fantastic. It was a huge job from moving walls and replacing pipes to installing a spa like walk in shower unit with a bench and rain shower head. We couldn’t be happier with the staff and the expert personnel experience they give us. Plus a beautiful bathtub and double sink vanity plus the heated floors in the bathroom and in the walk in shower is amazing. “Last December 2022 following a recommendation from a friend and an initial meeting with Tina McKeen (Designer) we contracted Heritage Kitchen and Bath (HKB) in Brockville, Ontario to undertake a renovation project in our medium sized kitchen as well as two small bathrooms.  The work was scheduled to begin at our home in late March or early April and take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete in its entirety.  We had heard about and expected to encounter delays based on product sourcing issues in the immediate aftermath of Covid 19.

We happily found this not to be the case.  Our renovation necessitated the services of two electricians and a plumber all subcontracted through HKB as well as their in-house installer. The work included installation of 6 quartz countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms; raising the bases of the 2 bathroom vanities; installation of new lighting fixtures and pot lights; and finally the installation of four grab bars for the bath and shower and nine new pullout drawers requiring customization by the very capable hands of Spencer Perkins (Project Manager). 

All dealings with Tina and Spencer were cordial and issues were addressed and dealt with promptly and in a courteous manner. Results are fully satisfactory and we are extremely happy with the result.  We have no problem whatsoever in recommending Tina and the HKB team for similar work.”

We contacted Heritage Kitchen in fall looking to update our main living space, with an emphasis on the kitchen. They arrived very quickly to take a look at the project and provide a quote. The designer and our main contact, Tina, was very polite and professional and designed a layout which was even superior to our original proposal. After comparing the 2 options, we moved forward with creating a peninsula instead of an island to maximize space but still have that modern touch (and a great spot for our daughter to eat). We made all our final decisions for materials with Tina which was very easy in their large showroom with private bookings. The quote provided was very detailed and transparent which we really appreciated and the final price was very fair for the quality of work and materials. The project started less than 5 months after we signed off on our contract, which was even sooner than anticipated.

The project lead Spencer and his experienced colleague, Patrick, worked for about 7 weeks on the project putting in engineered hardwood, adding a new ceiling with pot lights and hanging lights, installing oak cabinets as well as putting in new ceramic tiles in the entrance and kitchen. They coordinated the installation of the countertop, sink, gas range and fridge with water line and took care of every other step to finish the whole floor minus any painting (which I was happy to do myself). Everything looks great as you can tell the team really prides themselves on the small details and overall flow of the home. I especially love that the flooring and tiles required no transition pieces. The team has great work ethic, working 8-4 pretty much each day on the site, ensuring the project was done in a timely manner. Everyone with Heritage Kitchen is very friendly and easy to work with, including contractors such as plumbers and electricians. They also were very quick and willing to make any small fixes/corrections that we spotted before the job was 100% complete. We had a little confusion over the final billing but this was clarified in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Finding a local contractor for a large job is a really stressful experience and you always have to take a bit of a leap of faith working with a new company. We are very pleased we choose Heritage Kitchen, they are very polite and professional, transparent with the work and have a very talented staff which are highly detail-oriented. The end results really captured everything we had dreamed of when it was just an idea on paper. I truly believe they are one of the best residential contractors operating in the Brockville, Leeds and Greenville area, we absolutely recommend them without hesitation."

"Our renovations were extensive...new kitchen, remodel of laundry room, 2 updated bathrooms and new flooring (hardwood and ceramic tiles) on three main levels (including stairs) and upstairs bathroom. It was a pleasure working with Les! He takes great pride in his business. His knowledge is phenomenal. He was very helpful with advice on our selections on every detail. It took several months for the project to be completed and there were some hiccups along the way. One major, the ceramic tiles in the laundry room, but the rest were minor. A very large and very appreciated makeshift counter was made when a weekend with friends was scheduled in the middle of August!
